REVEALED: Sushant Singh Rajput Made LAST CALL To Pavitra Rishta Co-Star Mahesh Shetty Who Is Being Investigated By Police

It is being said that Sushant had made a call to his friend and fellow actor Mahesh Shetty before he took the drastic step.

The sudden demise of the versatile actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left shock waves among many, and the social media platforms are flooded with condolences messages with many recalling the gem of a person, Sushant Singh Rajput was. And while everyone is still trying to figure out what made the actor bid goodbye so soon. It is now being reported that, the late actir made his last call to his close friend, and his co-star from ‘Pavitra Rishta’, Mahesh Shetty. According to reports, Sushant called his sister at 9.30am on Sunday, after which he called Mahesh at 1.51 AM on Sunday morning which the later missed. When Mahesh woke up on Sunday morning and saw Sushant’s missed call, he promptly called the actor back at 8.30 am but Sushant was probably sleeping then,Sushant’s call data records revealed that the actor had woken up and dialed Mahesh at 9.30 am. But the call didn’t go through and next thing Mahesh knew was that the actor committed suicide. Mahesh was called by the Bandra police to record his statement as a part of their investigation into Sushant’s death by suicide. The police reportedly told Mahesh that while Sushant’s call to him was registered at 9.30 am, there was no record of Mahesh’s phone receiving the call. It just never went through! Mahesh Shetty, who is left completely shattered and disheartened by Sushant’s death worked with him in his popular TV show Pavitra Rishta and shared a close bond with him. The two were in close contact, shared a great equation, and were extremely good friends. Since yesterday, news reports were circulating that Sushant's last call before his alleged suicide was to Mahesh. It is being said that Sushant had made a call to his friend and fellow actor Mahesh Shetty before he took the drastic step. Now, an official statement from Mahesh's team, his spokesperson has urged the media to give the actor some space as he is in deep shock and his disheartened after Sushant's demise. “As we all are deeply pained and shocked to hear about Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise... So is Mahesh Shetty. He has lost a brother, a very dear friend and is still coming to terms with the shock and reality and is completely heartbroken. We, his team, request the media and all of you, on his behalf, to please give him some privacy and let him grieve for his loss,” the statement read Check out: Mahesh and Sushant have been friends since 2009 when the latter rose to stardom with Ekta Kapoor's successful TV show Pavitra Rishta. The two worked together in the serial.

It was television producer Ekta Kapoor, who gave the late star his first break in TV soap 'Pavitra Rishta,' alongside actor Ankita Lokhande. His performance as the lead character, Manav Deshmukh was met with humongous applause, enabling his stature as a household name for a TV actor. He went to receive several television awards for the performance.

Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide by hanging himself on Sunday. However, no suicide note has been recovered from his Bandra residence, as per the police and further investigation is underway.
