New Delhi: Makers of superstar Vijay starrer 'The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT)', released the first song from the film titled 'Whistle Podu' on the occasion of Tamil New Year. The actor-turned politician has now turned singer for this peppy track composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The 4-minute-47-second lyrical video, crafted by Yuvan, has vocals by Vijay, Venkat Prabhu, Yuvan Shankar Raja, and Premgi Amaren, with lyrics penned by Madhan Karky. In the video, Vijay shares the dance floor with Prabhudeva, Prashanth, and Ajmal Ameer, choreographed by Raju Sundaram, Prabhudeva’s sibling. The song crossed 12 million views within 17 hours of its release.

About Vijay starrer 'The Greatest Of All Time'
The film marks Vijay's second-last film after he announced his foray into politics. The film is slated to hit theatres on September 5 on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. The film's posters hint at Vijay essaying dual roles, with the utilization of de-aging technology for one character. Reportedly, the actor can also be seen sporting a clean-shaven look for his portrayal. While speculation swirls around the film possibly drawing inspiration from Hollywood's 'Looper', the makers are yet to address the claims.
