SIIMA Awards 2024 Winners List Tamil and Malayalam: Vikram, Nayanthara, Aishwarya Rai, Tovino Thomas Win Big

SIIMA Awards 2024 Tamil and Malayalam complete winners list:  The 2024 South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) took center stage in Dubai over the weekend, celebrating South Indian cinema.

SIIMA Awards 2024 Tamil and Malayalam complete winners list:  The 2024 South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) took center stage in Dubai over the weekend, celebrating South Indian cinema. This event attracted some of the biggest names in the industry, with the first day dedicated to recognising achievements in Telugu and Kannada films, while Tamil and Malayalam cinema took the spotlight on the second day. 

Nelson Dilipkumar’s hit action-comedy 'Jailer', featuring the iconic Rajinikanth, took home the prestigious Best Film award. In the acting categories, Chiyaan Vikram and Nayanthara emerged as winners for Best Actor and Best Actress for their standout roles in 'Ponniyin Selvan 2' and 'Annapoorani', respectively. Meanwhile, the Critics' Choice awards for Best Actor and Best Actress went to Sivakarthikeyan for 'Maaveeran' and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for her performance in Ponniyin Selvan 2.

On the Malayalam cinema front, Tovino Thomas was honored as Best Actor for his role in 2018, while Anaswara Rajan took home the Best Actress title for her performance in Neru. Joju George got Best Actor Critics for his film 'Iratta.'

Best Actor in a Supporting Role – Vasanth Ravi, Jailer 

Best Debutant Director – Vignesh Raja, Por Thozhil 

Best Debutant Actress – Preethi Anju Asrani, Ayothi 

Best Playback Singer (Male) – Sean Roldan, Naan Gaali – Good Night 

Emerging Producer of the Year – Thittakudi Kannan Ravi, Raavana Kottam 

Best Cinematographer – Thenieswar, Maamannan

Best Film: Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam 

Best Actor: Tovino Thomas, 2018
