New Delhi: After sharing the team posters of Thaliver 170th film, it seems that Lyca production finally shared a glimpse of megastar Rajinikanth from his 170th film before starting shoot. Taking to their official social media handle, Lyca Productions shared the first look of Rajinikanth in a monochrome poster looking dashing as ever.

Sharing the first look, Lyca Productions wrote, "Lights Camera Clap & ACTION. With our Superstar @rajinikanth and the stellar cast of Thalaivar 170 the team is all fired up and ready to roll! Hope you all enjoyed the Thalaivar feast. Now it's time for some action! We'll come up with more updates as the shoot progresses."

'Thalaiver 170', is the tentative title of Rajinikanth's 170th film. The film will be directed by TJ Gnanavel of 'Jai Bhim' fame. The film includes a stellar ensemble cast including the likes of Fahadh Faasil, Raa Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier, Tushara Vijayan.

Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan will also be reuniting in 'Thailaiver 170' after some 32 years.

Rajinikanth will be portraying the role of a retired police officer in the film. As per several reports, the film will involve a story of a fake encounter. 

Anirudh Ravichander will be doing the music of the film after composing the soundtracks in the megastar's previous releases 'Jailer' and 'Petta'.

Earlier, Rajinikanth spoke about his upcoming film to reporters at the Chennai airport. He said, "I'm doing my 170th film with director Gnanavel and Lyca which will be a huge entertainer at the same time with a social message."

Rajinikanth will also be working with his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth in 'Lal Salaam' and has another untitled project with 'Vikram' director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
