Described as a period-action adventure movie, the film features Dhanush in the titular role of Miller aka Analeesan and is Directed, co-written, and co-produced by Arun Matheswaran

In November last year, a song from the film titled ‘Killer Killer’ was released. Sung by the actor himself, the majority of the song is spoken word with over half of it being sung in English and later mixing it in Tamil before switching to singing. While most of the song is hushed speaking, there is a whole roaring rise as Dhanush’s ‘killer’ avatar slowly emerges and takes the stage.

Besides Captain Miller, the actor will be next seen in the Hindi film Tere Ishk Mein, which reunites him with filmmaker Aanand L Rai.

Dhanush will also be playing the lead in music maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s biopic. The shooting for the yet-to-be-titled film is scheduled to start in October 2024 with the makers aiming for the release of the film around mid-2025.

Dhanush has starred in 46 films and his accolades include four National Film Awards (two as actor and two as producer), fourteen SIIMA Awards.
