It's important to note that ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ remake rights have been acquired by producer KE Gnanavel Raja. In an interview, Raja said, “I have purchased the South remake rights of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. However, we will spin the story a little bit as per the taste of the South Indian audiences, especially the Tamil/Telugu audiences. Most of the story remains unchanged,” as quoted by DNA.
According to Raja, filming will begin in July or August, as he said in the same interview. The producer also said that the title of the movie hasn't been decided yet.
Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya appeared most recently in the well-received Venkat Prabhu film Custody. The actor hasn't announced any other projects since this one.
