Sidharth Shukla Death Anniversary: Actor's Family Attends Prayer Meet With Brahma Kumaris

It's been a year since Sidharth Shukla died due to cardiac arrest. On the eve of his first death anniversary, his family got together for a prayer meet with the Brahma Kumaris.

New Delhi: It's been a year since Sidharth Shukla died due to cardiac arrest. He is remembered fondly by his fans, family and friends.  

On the eve of his first death anniversary, his family got together for a prayer meet with the Brahma Kumaris. Sidharth’s mother Rita Shukla, and his sisters were seen distributing bhog in the pictures that have surfaced online. In one of the pictures, entire family can be seen posing together. 

Sidharth was a follower of Brahma Kumaris and would often attend with his mother. After his death, Shehnaaz Gill also started spending time with them. 

Sidharth was 40 when he breathed his last on September 2, 2021, due to cardiac arrest. 

Sidharth has a huge fan following and he still trends on Twitter every now and then. His fans loved him with Shehnaaz Gill on Bigg Boss and they are lovingly called Sidnaaz by their fans.  

In a recent interview, Shehnaaz spoke about Sidharth’s death and how she kept her emotions to herself. “Duniya ke aage roge to log bolenge sympathy gain kar rahi hai (People would say I am trying to gain sympathy if I would cry in front of the world). People would consider you weak and I never want to come across as one. However, I have never tried to hide my emotions. I dealt with it myself and I am fine with it absolutely, Shehnaaz told Bollywood Bubble. 

Sidharth made his silver screen debut in 2008 with ‘Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na’. He followed this up with shows such as ‘Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbi’ and ‘Love You Zindagi’. He later appeared in the popular show ‘Balika Vadhu’ and played the role of District Collector Shivraj Shekhar. Sidharth then bagged a role in the film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. 

 He later appeared on ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 7’ in 2015 and won the show. After this, he participated in ‘Bigg Boss 13’ and won the show.
