New Delhi: As congratulatory wishes pour in for Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on their wedding, late Shammi Kapoor’s wife Neela Devi also spoke about the star couple.

On being asked about Ranbir, Neela Devi said that her husband was also very fond of Ranbir Kapoor. "My husband too loved him. We are very close to him. He is very respectful. He is very humble and lovable,” she told TOI.

"I have met Alia a few times and I could tell that she is a wonderful girl. I wish Ranbir and her a very happy journey together in their marital life,” she added.
