With advance booking starting today, people are making sure to book tickets to watch their favourite star on the big screen after so long.
A fan of the actor has taken it to the level of craziness by threatening to kill himself if he is unable to watch Pathaan in theatres and meet the superstar on the film's release date. A person named Riyan, has posted multiple videos on social media urging people to help him watch the first-day show of Pathaan at theatres.
In the video, he is standing beside a lake and informs viewers that he will not be able to see Pathaan since he doesn't have money to buy movie tickets. He says that he is a big fan of Shah Rukh Khan. He then goes on to say that if he doesn't get to watch Pathaan or meet Shah Rukh Khan, he will jump into the lake and kill himself on January 25.

The videos garnered a lot of responses with people trying to make him understand what he is saying or thinking is wrong, some offered to buy tickets for him.

Meanwhile, advance bookings for the film are off to a fantastic start. Despite just being present in a limited number of locations, the movie has already sold 1.17 lakh tickets among the three national theatre chains.
Film critic and market analyst Taran Adarsh reports that the movie has already sold 1,17,000 advance tickets. He stated in a recent tweet that PVR has sold 51,000 tickets, INOX has sold 38,500 tickets, and Cinepolis has sold 27,500 tickets. The data, according to Adarsh, appear even before full-fledged advance booking starts.
Directed by Sidharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj films, the film also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie will be shown in theatres in three different languages: Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
