Samantha Ruth Prabhu Asks Paparazzi To Back Off As She Walks Out Of Gym: 'Stop It, Guys'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu was spotted in Mumbai on Tuesday morning, but unlike her usual cheerful self, the actress appeared visibly perturbed as she exited a workout session. Clad in wine-toned activewear and engaged in a phone call, Samantha didn’t seem too pleased by the flashing cameras waiting for her outside the building.

Samantha requests photographers to stop clicking

In videos making the rounds on social media, the 'Eega' star is seen walking out of a building while talking on the phone. Paparazzi greeted her with a cheerful "Good morning!" — but Samantha, seemingly not in the mood for pictures, responded curtly with, "Stop it, guys," as she quickly made her way to her car.

In another clip, Samantha is again seen on the phone, scanning the area for her vehicle. As photographers continued to click pictures and shoot videos, she repeated her request more firmly, saying, "Sorry guys," while weaving through the crowd. When the shutterbugs persisted, she stopped, turned around, and said, "Arre ruko ji, please," before retreating into the complex.

Fans defend Samantha’s reaction

Social media users swiftly came to the actress’s defence, criticising the paparazzi for overstepping boundaries.

“This is sheer harassment! She seems disturbed by the phone conversation she is having. Leave her alone!” one fan commented. Another echoed the sentiment, writing, “Give them a break. There are humans. Also, why is this worth posting?”

A third user noted, “Seriously, you guys need to give some privacy to them... Let them also breathe.” Meanwhile, another Instagram user added, “Please don’t follow actors everywhere, give them privacy, they will have their own problems too, they can’t be cheerful all the time. Please let them be.”

On the work front

Professionally, Samantha has a packed slate. She is set to appear in the action-fantasy web series 'Rakt Brahmand: The Bloody Kingdom', helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK in collaboration with Netflix. The series boasts an ensemble cast including Jaideep Ahlawat, Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, and Wamiqa Gabbi.

In addition, the actress is starring in the action thriller 'Maa Inti Bangaram', a project she is also co-producing. Earlier this year, Samantha launched her own production banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, and released its debut film 'Subham' in May.
