Rupali Ganguly Gets Emotional Over Brother Vijay’s Work In Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’

Rupali Ganguly showers praise on Aamir Khan’s ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ and her brother Vijay Ganguly’s choreography. The actress shares heartfelt moments and celebrates the film’s message.

Television actress Rupali Ganguly, best known for her role in 'Anupamaa', recently expressed heartfelt admiration for the Aamir Khan-starrer 'Sitaare Zameen Par'. The actress took to Instagram to share a carousel of moments with the film’s lead Aamir Khan and her brother, choreographer Vijay Ganguly.

The trio met at Aamir Khan’s office in the Santacruz West area of Mumbai, and Ganguly didn’t hold back from expressing how much the film, and her brother’s involvement in it, meant to her.

A Full-Circle Moment for Her Brother Vijay Ganguly

In her post, Rupali touched upon the personal significance of the film, as it marked a professional milestone for her brother Vijay Ganguly. She wrote, “Sitaare Zameen Par ….. a film with a heart. A film special to me for many reasons…. This marks a journey for my super gifted sibling … my Pappas favourite child @vijayganguly ….from a beginning with ‘Bum Bum Bole’ in ‘Taare Zameen Par’, to this film with Aamir Sir where he has solo credits as a choreographer. She also acknowledged how the choreography seamlessly wove into the film’s narrative, enhancing its emotional depth without overpowering the story.

A Grateful Shout-Out to the Film’s Creative Team

Rupali further expressed her gratitude for being invited to the set, where she got the chance to interact with director RS Prasanna and other members of the cast and crew. Reflecting on her visit, she shared, “Also big thank u for inviting me to your set where I met fabulous people like Prasanna Sir and Aamir Sir and along with my sweetheart Rishi.”

She also took the opportunity to appreciate her long-time friend and fellow dancer, Rishi Shahani, who also made his debut in this film.

‘Anupamaa’ Fame and Special Mentions

In a touching moment, the actress thanked Anupamaa’s writer, Divy Nidhi Sharma, for his contribution to the film. “And of course our biggest asset of #Anupama… the reason why Anupama’s dialogues goes viral, the most amazing writer and human being @divynidhisharma sir for adding soul to this film,” she noted.

Rupali didn’t forget the supporting cast either, offering a special mention to several of the actors she encountered on set. “The dialogues uff uff uff @rs.prasanna you are a genius. Only you could imagine and execute this story. A special mention to all the fantastic special actors some of whom I had the privilege of meeting on set Satbir, Bantu, Raju, Sunil, Kareem, and the man with the best jokes,” she concluded.

With 'Sitaare Zameen Par', it’s not just Aamir Khan’s return to the screen that’s making waves—it’s also a deeply personal milestone for those involved behind the scenes.
