Punjabi Actress Jyoti Saxena: Could Have Played Mouni Roy's Character Better in 'Brahmastra' Better

During the interview, when she was asked if given a chance which 'Brahmastra' character would she replace with a Pollywood star, Jyoti said, "I could have played Mouni Roy's character better

New Delhi: 'Brahmastra' continues to do well at the box office and create a buzz amidst fans and audiences, with spin-offs, memes and whatnot. Recently, the Punjabi actress and model Jyoti Saxena shared her views on the Ayan Mukerji directorial. 'Brahmastra' stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. In a recent interaction with ETimes, Jyoti shared that she could have played Mouni Roy's character in 'Brahmatsra'.

During the interview, when she was asked if given a chance which 'Brahmastra' character would she replace with a Pollywood star, Jyoti said, "I could have played Mouni Roy's character better if given a chance.Because I have got that height, I look beautiful and I feel my eyes can speak louder than my words. So yes, I feel I could have done this better. Because it is one of those movies which has left the audience in awe and including me."

Meanwhile, Jyoti Saxena will soon be starring alongside Mika Singh in one of his upcoming songs. Jyoti is also in talks with signing a big Punjabi film soon.

On the other hand, 'Brahmastra' continues to wow audiences across the country and the world with its VFX, music and action. There have also been reports about the second installment of 'Brahmastra' Part 2: Dev going on floors by the end of 2022.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Ayan shared updates about the upcoming film." I can answer very few things about Dev. The idea was to create a very clear indication about where we are going next with the storytelling. That now we are really getting into the story of our antagonist. Decoding it, giving you some hook to hang on to for part two. Dev is the fulcrum of the entire Brahmastra trilogy."

'Brahmastra' has already crossed the Rs. 150 crore mark at the Indian box office and it is being widely speculated that the film will cross Rs. 250 crores at the end of the first weekend.
