Parag Tyagi Shuts Down Dog Simba’s Health Rumours After Shefali Jariwala’s Passing, Says He Is 'Hail & Hearty'
In a touching video, Shefali Jariwala’s husband, Parag, clarified Simba’s emotional involvement in the last rites, slamming false claims about the dog’s health.

New Delhi: Actor Parag Tyagi, mourning the loss of his wife Shefali Jariwala, has responded to online criticism with a touching video featuring their pet dog Simba. Shefali passed away on 27 June at the age of 42 and she is survived by her husband Parag, parents, sister and Simba, their beloved pug.
In the emotional video shared online, Parag and Simba are seen distributing food packets to underprivileged people on the streets of Mumbai. Elderly women are seen blessing them, and Simba remains by Parag’s side throughout the gesture. The act was part of the final rites and offerings made in Shefali’s memory. Parag set the video to the song 'Tu Hi Yaar Mera', further intensifying its emotional resonance.

Alongside the video, Parag wrote, “Simba is Hail & Hearty and doing all the rituals to be done by a son for his mom. This video is for all those wonderful people who were really concerned about our baby Simba because of some heartless people spreading false news about our baby Simba’s health just to garner few likes and views.”
This comes after social media erupted in speculation when Parag was spotted walking Simba in their society premises the day after Shefali’s death. A section of netizens unfairly criticised his public appearance with the pet.
For the unversed, Parag and Shefali had tied the knot in 2014 after dating for four years.
