Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally released their wedding video, over five years after getting married in Italy on Karan Johar's 'Koffee With Karan Season 8.'

New Delhi: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally released their wedding video, over five years after getting married in Italy. The power couple treated filmmaker and host Karan Johar and fans to never-before-seen footage from their picture-perfect wedding as they kicked off the latest, eighth season of the popular chat show 'Koffee With Karan.'

Ranveer's account of how he proposed to Deepika in the Maldives and their subsequent flight to Bengaluru to meet and inform her parents of their engagement preceded the video. Though Deepika's mother was first not very thrilled with her choice of Ranveer, he was able to win her over one little step at a time.

The wedding video opens with Ranveer raving about Deepika at their engagement party, as usual. Prakash Padukone, Deepika's father and a former badminton champion, kindly adds that Ranveer adds some craziness and excitement to an otherwise "boring" family of four.

In clips from the wedding, Ranveer can be seen dancing at their lakeside mehendi ceremony, Deepika wearing jewels as she gets ready for the nuptials, the couple exchanging vows at the mandap, and their Anand Karaj ceremony. He also talks about how he wanted to meet Deepika before their nuptials to tell her that he loves her.

Karan got all emotional and welled up after watching the video. He received hugs and kisses from Ranveer and Deepika. Although watching the wedding video and witnessing their mutual love made him happy, he also pondered about what else he might be missing out on in life. Karan, who is unmarried at the moment, admitted that although his mother and kids love him, there are moments when he longs for a companion to share life's little pleasures with. Deepika reassured him that the right person will come along. She also stressed the need of finding the proper partner for you instead of marrying the wrong person and then regretting your choice.
