Bigg Boss OTT 3, which began on June 21, has been buzzing with controversy thanks to YouTube content creator Armaan Malik and his two wives, Payal Malik and Kritika Malik. Their polygamous relationship has not only sparked debates within the show but also attracted criticism from all quarters including former Bigg Boss contestants.

Karan Kundrra, a popular contestant from Bigg Boss 15, suggested that the presence of Armaan, Payal, and Kritika would lead to intense drama in the house. He referred to their dynamic as "Kalesh Pro Max." 

Actress Devoleena Bhattacharjee, known for her appearances on Bigg Boss 13 and 14, allso criticised the show's producers for lowering their standards and promoting "filth" by including such participants. She expressed her discontent on Twitter, writing, “Do you think this is entertainment? This is not entertainment, it’s filth. Don’t make the mistake of taking this lightly because it’s not just a reel, it’s real." 

She also posted a long note asking to "stop this filth."

 

I can’t say about every man, but surely those with lewd intentions must desire to have 2, 3, or 4 wives. Please stop this filth. For god sake stop this.

Uorfi Javed supports Armaan, Payal and Kritika

Actress Uorfi Javed has come out in support of Armaan and his wives Payal and Kritika. She defended their relationship, stating, “I have known the family for quite some time and I can vouch they are the nicest people I’ve ever met! If the three of them are happy, who are we to judge? The concept of polygamy has existed for long, it’s even popular to date in some religions. If the three of them are okay, we are no one to comment!” 

From the show's outset, Armaan and his wives have faced significant backlash. Fans and housemates alike have been critical, particularly after Payal casually recounted Armaan's infidelity. Discussions about their relationship dynamics have been a recurring topic in the house.
