Anil Kapoor on Subedaar

Sharing his thoughts on the project, Anil Kapoor said, “Subedaar is special!!! It’s much more than just an action film; it’s about resilience, honor, family, and the relentless fight we face in life.” 

Directed by Suresh Triveni, Subedaar is produced by Vikram Malhotra, Anil Kapoor, and Triveni.  

Kapoor expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with Triveni, calling him the perfect director to helm this ambitious project. “I could not have asked a better director than Suresh to captain this film, and it is equally special to partner with Vikram and team as we bring this story to life,” he remarked. 

The film also stars Radhikka Madan, who plays Kapoor’s on-screen daughter. Set in India’s heartland, Subedaar explores the turbulent journey of Subedaar Arjun Maurya as he navigates the challenges of civilian life. 

The final leg of shooting is scheduled to commence in January, keeping fans eagerly awaiting its release. The film is a Prime Video Original. 

Anil Kapoor remembers his father

Earlier, Kapoor remembered his late father, Surinder Kapoor, on what would have been his 99th birth anniversary on December 23. Reflecting on his father’s legacy, the actor said, “His simplicity, honesty, and joy not only defined him but gave his life meaning.”
