Based on Tamal Bandyopadhyay’s book Sahara: The Untold Story, the series is produced by Applause Entertainment in collaboration with Studio Next, with Mehta as he director. 'Scam 2010' chronicles the dramatic rise and fall of Subrata Roy, a maverick businessman embroiled in controversy in the early 2000s. Accusations against Roy ranged from chit-fund manipulations to fabricating investor identities, culminating in his arrest in 2014. Even today, approximately 25,000 crore rupees remain unclaimed with government authorities, highlighting the enduring impact of the scandal.

Hansal Mehta on Scam 2010
