Prateik Babbar And Sayani Gupta Reunite For Quirky Rom-Com 'Khwaabon Ka Jhamela'

The upcoming romantic comedy 'Khwaabon Ka Jhamela;, featuring Prateik Babbar, Sayani Gupta, and Kubbra Sait, delves into a journey of love and self-discovery.

New Delhi: Cast members Prateik Babbar, Kubbra Sait, and Sayani Gupta are set to feature in the upcoming rom-com 'Khwaabon Ka Jhamela'. Jio Studios and Baweja Studios are joining forces with directed by Danish Aslam for this project. The two studios have worked together before on Sanya Malhotra-starrer ‘Mrs.’, which was well-received at international festivals.

Filmed in both India and the UK, ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’ tells the tale of Zubin, a numbers guy whose love life takes a twist when his fiancee, Shehnaz, says no to his proposal because he is uncomfortable being intimate. Ruby, an intimacy coordinator, and Zubin form an unusual connection centred on self-improvement and maybe love when Zubin meets Ruby in his quest for direction.

The film's producer, Harman Baweja, discussed the project and said, "Khwaabon Ka Jhamela brings together an incredibly talented team and a truly unique story. It’s a rom-com that’s not just about finding the one, but it also takes two seemingly unrelated topics—personal finances and intimacy—and weaves them into a narrative that’s entertaining and meaningful. Collaborating with such an exceptional team has been super rewarding, and we’re looking forward to presenting this fresh take on love and life.”

Sayani Gupta on ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’

According to Sayani Gupta, the film's screenplay strikes a good mix of humour and emotional depth. She said, “Khwaboon Ka Jhamela has such a brilliant script—funny, sad, and really cool. Collaborating with Danish, Arpita, and Prateik again was fabulous, and playing an intimacy coach was something entirely new for me. It’s a subject that hasn’t really been explored in Indian cinema. Danish made the story relatable for all of us. Shooting in the freezing cold left us in a brain fog, but it was an experience I’ll never forget!”

With contemporary relationships as its background, ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’ is set to offer a whimsical view on love and self-discovery. The trailer will be out on October 29th and will premiere on JioCinema Premium on November 8th.
