OTT Releases in June: From Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's action drama 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' to Ajay Devgn's sports biopic 'Maidaan', June has a bunch of much-awaited releases on various streaming platforms. Jitendra Kumar's 'Kota Factory Season 3' and the wholesome family drama 'Gullak Season 4' are also on the list along with the second part of Netflix's period drama 'Bridgerton' and the action-packed 'House of Dragons Season 2.'

Streaming Platform: Disney+Hotstar (June 3)

"Gunaah" is a riveting drama where betrayal and mystery intertwine. The series stars Gashmeer Mahajani as Abhimanyu, a seasoned gambler caught in the treacherous schemes of the woman he loves. Falsely accused of murder and imprisoned, Abhimanyu seizes a chance to escape. Consumed by vengeance, he undergoes a dramatic transformation, altering his appearance to exact retribution on those who have wronged him. The Legend Of Hanuman Season 4: Sharad Kelkar, Daman Singh

Streaming Platform: Disney+Hotstar (June 5)

This new season will feature Kumbhkaran unleashing his monstrous power, Indrajeet's deadly schemes, and Ahiravan's dark plans, while Hanuman empowers his powerful vanar sena for an epic battle. Produced by Graphic India, Sharad Devarajan, and Jeevan J Kang, the show features the voices of Sharad Kelkar as Ravan and Daman Singh as Hanuman, among others.

 

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chillar, Alaya F

Set against the backdrop of high-stakes espionage, "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" is an action-packed thriller starring Akshay Kumar as Captain Firoz “Freddy” and Tiger Shroff as Captain Rakesh “Rocky.” The plot centers on these two special agents who are tasked with recovering a stolen AI weapon from the masked antagonist, Dr. Kabir (Prithviraj Sukumaran), before he can execute a catastrophic attack on Indian soil. TVF’s "Gullak" returns for its fourth season, continuing to center on the endearing Mishra family—Santosh, Shanti, and their sons, Annu and Aman—as they navigate the everyday joys and challenges of middle-class life in a small town in India. The show stars Jonathan Bailey as Lord Anthony Bridgerton, Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma, and Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton, among others.

 

The Boys Season 4: Karl Urban, Jack Quaid

Streaming Platform: Prime Video (June 13)

The drama series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, and Erin Moriarty. According to the official description for the new season of The Boys, the world is teetering on the edge. Victoria Neuman is inching closer to the Oval Office, while Homelander tightens his grip on power. Butcher, facing a terminal illness, has lost Becca's son and his leadership of The Boys. The rest of the team is weary of his deception. With the stakes higher than ever, they must find a way to unite and save the world before it's too late. 

 

Maharaj: Junaid Khan, Jaideep Ahlawat, Sharvari Wagh

Streaming Platform: Netflix (June 14)

'Maharaj' is inspired by the 1862 Maharaja Libel Case. In the film, Junaid plays the role of Karsandas Mulji, a journalist, social reformer, and a pioneering advocate for women’s rights and social reform. Kota Factory Season 3: Jitendra Kumar, Ahsaas Channa, Tillotima Shome

The series follows the lives of students in Kota as they strive to get into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) by cracking the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). According to the official plotline, the new season will depict the students inching toward adulthood, grappling with fears and aspirations as final exams loom, and pondering what the future may hold. Directed by Pratish Mehta, "Kota Factory" features Jitendra Kumar, Mayur More, Ahsaas Channa, and Ranjan Raj. The new season will also star Tillotama Shome in a pivotal role.

 

House of the Dragon Season 2: Harry Collett

Streaming Platform: Jio Cinema Premium (June 17)

The show, a spin-off of the epic fantasy drama "Game of Thrones," will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali, and Marathi. It will be available for streaming in India on JioCinema Premium starting June 17. New episodes will drop weekly every Monday, coinciding with the US release. The second season stars Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D'Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans.

 

Bigg Boss OTT Season 3

The web show, available exclusively on JioCinema, is set to launch in June, although the exact date has not yet been disclosed. The announcement was made through a captivating one-minute promo shared via Jio Cinema's official Instagram account. "Bigg Boss OTT," a spin-off of the highly popular Bigg Boss franchise, was initially hosted by Karan Johar, with actor Salman Khan taking over as host for the second season.
