Manjummel Boys theatrical response
Written and directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Chidambaram, ‘Manjummel Boys’ made its theatrical debut on February 22 in Kerala and Tamil Nadu to resounding applause from both viewers and critics. Garnering widespread acclaim for its gripping narrative and stellar performances, the movie quickly emerged as a commercial success, breaking records.

'Manjummel Boys’ became the highest-grossing Malayalam film, collecting over Rs 200 crore and surpassing the previous record set by ‘2018’, India's official entry to the 2024 Academy Awards.

The film will be available in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, ensuring its accessibility to a diverse audience base.

Set against the backdrop of a true incident, ‘Manjummel Boys’ is the tale of a group of friends hailing from the quaint town of Manjummel near Kochi. Their seemingly idyllic vacation in Kodaikanal takes a dark turn, unraveling a series of gripping events that test their bonds and resilience.

The film boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Lal Jr, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Arun Kurian, Khalid Rahman, Chandu Salimkumar, Shebin Benson, and Vishnu Reghu, each delivering powerful performances that add depth to the narrative.
