Karan Johar recently watched 'Bandish Bandits Season 2', starring Ritwik Bhowmik and Shreya Chaudhry, and described the series as "soup for the soul".

New Delhi: The highly awaited second season of ‘Bandish Bandits’, the enthralling musical drama that captured hearts during its first season, has finally been released. From celebrities to viewers, everyone has nothing but praise for the new season. Filmmaker and producer Karan Johar is among its fans and recently shared a message on social media expressing his admiration for the series.

In a long heartfelt note, Karan Johar praised ‘Bandish Bandits season 2’, describing it as "Soup for the Soul" and extending his congratulations to the entire cast and crew. 

The filmmaker praised ‘Bandish Bandits’ for their fresh take on the age-old conflict between classical Indian music and modern styles like hip-hop and K-pop. The series was created by Amritpal Singh Bindra and Anand Tiwari, who also directed the series under Leo Media Collective production. The new season features a stellar ensemble cast, including Ritwik Bhowmik, Shreya Chaudhry, Sheeba Chaddha, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, and Kunaal Roy Kapur. Some of the new additions are Divya Dutta, Rohan Gurbaxani, Yashaswini Dayama, Aaliyah Qureshi, and Saurabh Nayyar.
