Jaane Jaan New Promo: Meet Jaideep Ahlawat As Naren In Kareena Kapoor, Vijay Varma Film
The mystery thriller 'Jaane Jaan' also marks Kareena Kapoor's debut on an OTT streaming platform.
New Delhi: A new character promo of 'Jaane Jaan' is out. Starring Kareena Kapoor, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, the Sujoy Ghosh directorial will begin streaming on Netflix on September 21. On Wednesday, makers shared a new 'Jaane Jaan' promo featuring Jaideep Ahlawat who plays the role of a teacher Naren in the film.
In the 40-second promo, we get a glimpse into the character of Naren, who is also the neighbour of Maya D'Souza( played by Kareena Kapoor). The 'Jaane Jaan' promo shows how he greets her and keeps an eye on her until a police officer( played by Vijay Varma) arrives in town to investigate something.

Makers had earlier shared a character promo of Maya D'Souza ( played by Kareena). The promo showed Maya trying to hide something from her mysterious past. She seems to go to great lengths to protect her daughter from what seems to be a murder investigation.
Makers of 'Jaane Jaan' had also released the title track which is a rendition of a song from the 1969 film 'Intaquam'. The recreated version of the song has been sung by Neha Kakkar and the music has been composed by Sachin-Jigar.
'Jaane Jaan' is adapted and directed by Sujoy Ghoosh from the Japanese novel of Keigo Higashino's 'The Devotion of Suspect X'. The film has been produced by Jay Shewakramani, Akshai Puri, Hyunwoo Thomas Kim, Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor under the banners 12th Street Entertainment, Northern Lights Films, Kross Pictures, and Balaji Motion Pictures.
The film also stars Saurabh Sachdeva, Lin Laishram, and Karma Takapa in supporting roles.
‘Jaane Jaan’ is a Netflix film which will be released on the platform on September 21, which also coincides with Kareena Kapoor’s birthday.
Fans are really excited to see what the three actors bring together on screen.
