New Delhi: Amazon Prime has released its upcoming slate of shows and events. Headlining the lineup is Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan starrer 'Honey Bunny'. The streaming giant shared the announcement on their official Instagram page along with the first look poster of 'Honey Bunny'.
Taking to their official Instagram handle, Prime Video shared the first look poster with the caption that said, "Prime Video has confirmed the Indian series within the Citadel universe will be called Citadel: Honey Bunny. Citadel: Honey Bunny has a riveting narrative that fuses the pulse-pounding elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming allure of a love story, all set against the vibrant tapestry of the 90s. Honey Bunny is the Indian series within the Citadel universe."

In the poster, we get a glimpse of Varun and Samantha in rugged looks aiming guns at someone. The look and feel of the posterbears resemblance to the iconic Hollywood flick Mr. & Mrs. Smith and might remind fans of the Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt action flick.
In the American version of 'Citadel', Priyanka Chopra headlined the show alongside Richard Madden.
The spy thriller TV series was created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh, and David Weil for Amazon Prime Video, with the Russo brothers as executive producers.
Produced by D2R films, 'Honey Bunny' has been directed by 'The Family Man' director duo Raj and DK and also written by them alongwith Sita Menon.
Besides Varun Dhawan, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the show will also star Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher.
The release date of 'Honey Bunny' is yet to be announced.
