New Delhi: In Bollywood, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are one of the most adored pairs. They were together for five years before getting married in April of this year. Much to their fans' surprise, the couple has now revealed that they are expecting their first child together within three months of their marriage.
Her pregnancy was revealed on Monday with a heartwarming image of her and Ranbir in the hospital, which was accompanied by a heartfelt message. Her second photograph, on the other hand, showed two lions and a baby. There's also a sonography screen in the backdrop, which the actress has covered with a red heart. As she and Ranbir gaze intently at the blurred screen, she can be seen with a cute grin on her face.
On Instagram, Alia wrote: "Our baby ….. coming soon." Since the actress announced her plans to become a mother, social media has been flooded with well-wishes for the soon-to-be parents.
Actress Rakul Preet Singh wrote, “Oh my my Congratulationsssss.” Karan Johar and Priyanka Chopra Jonas also show their excitement by writing, “Heart is bursting” and “Congratulations honey!! Yaaaay! Can’t wait” respectively. Malaika Arora dropped a red heart and said "God Bless."
Ranbir's cousin, Karisma Kapoor wrote, "Awwww can’t wait ❤️🤗 Congratulations to you both."
Hollywood actress Gal Gadot also dropped a couple of red hearts.
Ranbir's close friend Anushka Sharma also shared their post on Instagram and wrote, "Welcome to the club mommy & daddy."
Recently, the paparazzi asked Alia’s mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor for her reaction to the good news. She can be seen being emotional and overjoyed at the same time. As the reporter asked her how she felt about being a ‘dadi’, she paused and thanked them. See the video:
