Naga Chaitanya Reveals His Tattoo Has His Wedding Date In Morse Code
When Naga Chaitanya was asked what he would do if he met his ex-wife Samantha today, he replied, "Say hi, give her a hug."
New Delhi: Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's divorce was a shock to all their fans. However, having parted and gone their separate ways, both have barely spoken about their separation on public platforms until recently when Samantha broke the silence on 'Koffee With Karan Season 7'. Post that episode, Naga Chaitanya also spoke a little about their separation in public space. Now, Naga Chaitanya has revealed something about the tattoo he bears on his forearm. According to him, it's the morse code of his and Samatha's wedding date and thus asked his fans to stop imitating his tattoo.
In conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Chaitanya said, "I met a few fans who've tattooed like my name and all that and they've imitated this tattoo (pointing his forearm). This is not something you would want to imitate. It's the day I got married. So I won't want the fans to put that. I feel really bad when they tattoo these things. It's like 'don't, things might just change. I can change the tattoo'.”
When asked if he was thinking about changing the tattoo, the actor said,"No I haven't thought about it, it's fine." When he was asked what he would do if he met his ex-wife Samantha today, he replied, "Say hi, give her a hug."
Samantha also has 'Chay' inked on the right side of her rib. She also has a tattoo saying YMC around the nape of her neck meaning 'Ye Maaya Chesave' (2010), her debut film, which featured her opposite Naga Chaitanya and also marked the start of their relationship.
Samantha and Naga got engaged in Hyderabad in January 2017 and tied the knot in Goa on October 6 of the same year in a traditional Hindu ceremony. On October 7, they got married according to Christian rituals.
On October 2, 2021, they announced their seapartion via a mutual statement.
