Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar Box Office Collection Day 9: Ranbir and Shraddha Kapoor’s Movie Get Closer To Rs 100 Cr

‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, directed by Luv Ranjan, stands alone among recent Hindi releases as the only one to find success after ‘Pathaan’.

New Delhi: Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, has been doing well at the box office. Released in theatres on Holi 2023, Luv Ranjan's film is quickly approaching the Rs 100 crore mark at the Indian box office. However, a modest decrease in revenue was seen on March 16th, Day 9.

The film opened on Holi and grossed Rs 15.73 crore. The film's box office earnings reached double digits on the following days until the first Monday when it only earned Rs 6.05 crore. On Day 9, TJMM collected Rs 4.80 crore, making a grand total of Rs 92.71 crore from ticket sales.

Since TJMM is now competing with Rani Mukerji's Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway and Kapil Sharma's Zwigato, the film's second weekend will be crucial.

In only six days after its release, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar earned over Rs 100 crore at the box office throughout the globe. Now, it’s safe to assume that the film will enter the 100 cr club in India as well.

‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’, directed by Luv Ranjan, stands alone among recent Hindi releases as the only one to find success after Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Pathaan’.

The review of the film on ABP Live reads: "The catharsis in this three act film is well-worth a watch and for that reason 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar' can be seen as a family entertainer despite its many problems and pseudo-feminism. There is an end-credits sequence where for some 4 minutes, even as critics you're hooked to what's happening on screen- an ideal life story plays out- an in-laws family and the most loving partner in the world doing everything to make their daughter-in-law feel at home and everyone is supremely happy."

Besides Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' also stars Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia, and Boney Kapoor.
