The Romantics Trailer: SRK, Bachchans & Rishi Kapoor Talk About Yash Chopra, Aditya Chopra Gets On-Camera After 28 Years

'The Romantics' is a four-part documentary series that pays tribute to Yash Chopra and YRF's 50-year career.

New Delhi: Netflix released the trailer for 'The Romantics', a documentary series celebrating the legacy of director Yash Chopra. In the trailer, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, and other actors are shown lauding the seasoned director. The filmmaker helmed iconic romantic films like 'Silsila', 'Lamhe', 'Kabhi Kabhie', 'Veer-Zaara', 'Dil To Pagal Hai', 'Chandni', 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan', etc.

'The Romantics', a four-part documentary series produced by the top production company for Netflix, pays tribute to Yash Chopra and YRF's 50-year career. In the trailer, 35 celebrities from the entertainment industry explain what Yash Chopra's movies meant to them and how they had an impression on the world. The list includes – Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Rishi Kapoor, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Anushka Sharma, Juhi Chawla, Ranbir Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar and many others. The show also aims to highlight the three generations of actor that the production company has influenced.

The trailer also made clear that many famous film figures despise the term "Bollywood", which has been sloppily given to the Hindi film industry for decades. Bollywood, a combination of the words Bombay and Hollywood, was first used by the West to refer to Hindi film.

Not to mention, everyone would be eagerly anticipating the chance to watch Aditya Chopra on camera. Since he began making movies, the skilled filmmaker has avoided the media, but now he has made the decision to reveal himself to the world. The last time Aditya gave an interview was for a print magazine in 1995.
