The Archies’ Celebs Review: Karan Johar Calls It ‘A Rocking Musical’, Janhvi Kapoor Gives Shout Out To Khushi Kapoor
A packed house of Bollywood celebrities watched Zoya Akhtar's 'The Archies' on Tuesday night, just before its official release.
New Delhi: 'The Archies', featuring star kids Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, and Khushi Kapoor, among others, is finally going to make its Netflix debut on December 7, after months of anticipation. A packed house of Bollywood celebrities watched Zoya Akhtar's film on Tuesday night, just before its official release. Celebs were finally spotted lining up to see the musical on the big screen at Mumbai's Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC).
Among those who watched the movie were actors Janhvi Kapoor and Dia Mirza, as well as directors Karan Johar and Subhash Ghai. They were taken aback by it and posted their opinions about 'The Archies' on social media.
Filmmaker Subhash Ghai praised Zoya on X (formerly Twitter) for the film.

Filmmaker Karan Johar wrote a touching note on his Instagram page on Wednesday, expressing his love for the Archies crew.

Dia Mirza, who was also attended the premiere, wrote, "Their voices are the sunbeams that bring light. Because you are never too young to make a difference. Loved loved loved this movie and can't WAIT for you all to watch it."
Janhvi Kapoor shared a picture of herself with sister Khushi Kapoor. “The sunshine of my life and now sunshine in cinema. You are magical,” she wrote.
'The Archies' is a 1960s drama set in the fictional Indian town of Riverdale and is based on the popular Archies Comics. Archie (Agastya Nanda), Betty (Khushi Kapoor), Veronica (Suhana Khan), Jughead (Mihir Ahuja), Reggie (Vedang Raina), Ethel (Dot), and Dilton (Yuvraj Menda) are the seven friends whose stories come to life.
Among the many celebrities that attended The Archies' premiere night were Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Janhvi Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kajol, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Farhan Akhtar.
