'My First Teacher': Esha Deol Shares Priceless Throwback Pic With Mother Hema Malini

Teachers' Day 2021: Esha Deol posted a throwback snap with her mother Hema Malini to express her gratitude towards the veteran actress.

Mumbai: Esha Deol penned a heartfelt post for her mother and veteran Bollywood actress Hema Malini on the occasion of Teachers’ Day 2021. The ‘Dhoom’ star went down the memory lane and shared a throwback snap with her mother, acknowledging Malini’s efforts in life.

Esha addressed Hema Malini as her ‘first teacher’ and expressed her gratitude towards the ‘Sholay’ actress. She wrote, “From my first step as a tiny dancer to who I am today as a mother, it’s all because of you. The knowledge, the ethics & the discipline I have learnt from you has always been a blessing for me. My mother, My first teacher.”

Deol can be seen dressed in a traditional outfit in the first photo. She sat on her mother’s lap while posing for the camera. She posted another photo wherein the mother-daughter duo is seen flashing their smiles.

Madhoo Shah, Celina Jaitley and other tinsel town celebs dropped comments on the post. Madhoo commented, "My beautiful esha I agree with you and. Send you love and best always maa" while Celina wrote, "Oh you sweetie."

Hema Malini Shares Post On Teachers' Day 2021

"Wishing all our great teachers over the years who have mentored us and taught us so much in life. Happy Teachers Day," the Baghban' star tweeted.

 

 

The BJP leader said that teachers have a greater responsibility in today's time and hence, they must take charge.

"Teachers today have a greater responsibility.Too much happening, rapid changes every day,rampant violence-there is too much to contend with. Onus is on the teachers to take charge & impart the right knowledge on impressionable minds to build an unshakeable foundation for the future," she wrote on the micro-blogging site.

 

On the profession front, Esha Deol will make her digital debut with ‘Rudra-The Edge Of Darkness. The upcoming project also stars Ajay Devgn.
