Tamil Director Raj Kapoor's 23-Year-Old Son Sharook Passes Away In Mecca
Filmmaker Raj Kapoor's son Sharook Kapoor was accompanying him on the pilgrimage to Mecca where he breathed his last in Mecca on February 17.
New Delhi: The news of Sandalwood singer Sushmitha committing suicide by hanging herself after getting tortured by husband Sharat Kumar shocked many. While fans are still mourning her death, another tragic news from South film industry has traumatised everyone. Tamil filmmaker Raj Kapoor, who is know for directing various films like ‘Aval Varuvala’ and ‘Anandha Poongatre’ with Ajith, has lost his 23-year-old son Sharoo Kapoor in a shocking turn of events.
As per reports, Sharook Kapoor breathed his last in Mecca yesterday (February 17). Her mother was accompanying him on the pilgrimage to Mecca.
According to TOI, "Sharook suffered from shortness of breath and began shivering. His mother thought it was due to the weather, however, the youngster passed away before anyone could do anything."
Raj Kapoor, who made his directorial debut with ‘Thalattu Ketkuthamma’ starring Prabhu and Kanaka, is reportedly trying his level best to bring back his son's body to Chennai for cremation. However, he's facing difficulties due to the International regulations in Mecca.
This is indeed a tough time for the family. Here's hoping that they gathers the strength to cope up with the loss.
