The highly anticipated trailer for Rohit Shetty's 'Singham Again' was unveiled on Monday. The nearly 5 minutes long video is high on action in signature Rohit Shetty style, boasting of a stellar star cast.

The trailer opens with Ajay Devgn's character, Bajirao Singham, and Kareena Kapoor's character, Avni, discussing with their son the lengths Lord Ram went to in order to rescue Goddess Sita. The story then mirrors this as Kareena's character is kidnapped, prompting Bajirao to search for her across India and Sri Lanka. Arjun Kapoor plays a menacing antagonist.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also spring into action, portraying Shakti Shetty and Inspector Sangram Bhalerao (aka Simmba), respectively. The duo delivers some funny and interesting lines throughout the trailer. Arjun's character is determined to see Raavan triumph in this modern-day Kalyug.

Tiger Shroff's character can also be seen battling villains, while Akshay Kumar’s DCP Veer Sooryavanshi makes an appearance in his signature style. Fans can expect Rohit Shetty’s trademark sequences of explosions, overturned cars, and intense fight scenes.

 

The film draws inspiration from the Ramayana, with Ajay as Ram, Kareena as Sita, Tiger as Lakshman, Ranveer as Hanuman, Arjun as Raavan, and Akshay as Jatayu. The trailer also features Ravi Kishan, Jackie Shroff, and Shweta Tiwari in prominent roles.

The length of the trailer has got people talking on social media. Reacting to the trailer, one user wrote, “Itne star cast ke sath khichdi jaise Vibes a raha hai but Rohit Shetty knows what audience want. This is pure mass action entertainer." A second user said, “Woah this looks so entertaining… I am definitely going to watch it in the theatre."

Singham Franchise

'Singham Again' marks the third installment in the popular franchise, set to release on November 1. The original 'Singham' premiered in 2011, featuring Kajal Aggarwal and Prakash Raj, followed by 'Singham Returns' in 2014. Both films were Box Office hits.

Previously, Rohit Shetty addressed rumors of a delay in the release of 'Singham 3'. Taking to Instagram, he confirmed the film’s Diwali release, even sharing a video from the sets that hinted at a major cameo.

Meanwhile, 'Singham Again' is scheduled for a Diwali release and will be going head-to-head with Kartik Aaryan’s 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3'. Rumors had surfaced that Kartik Aaryan reached out to Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, requesting a delay in their film's release. However, 'Singham Again' will be released as planned, sticking to its original schedule.
