Singham Again To Clash With Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, Stree 2 And Pushpa 2 To Release On August 15

The release of “Singham Again” starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor has been postponed. This means the film will not clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2.

The release of “Singham Again” starring Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor has been postponed. The film, which was earlier scheduled to release on August 15, has now locked Diwali as its release date. This means the film will not clash with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 at the box office anymore. However, this doesn't mean a major clash has been avoided. Now, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's "Stree 2" is set to release on August 15, directly competing with the highly anticipated sequel of "Pushpa."  

Singham Again postponed 

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty took to social media to share a poster featuring the title of his upcoming film and the new release date. In the caption, Rohit wrote: “Sher aatank machata hai, zakhmi sher tabahi! See you in the cinemas once again… This Diwali." Ajay Devgn also posted, "#SinghamAgain roaring this Diwali 2024." During the trailer release of his upcoming film 'Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha' on Thursday, Ajay provided an update on "Singham Again": "Some work on the film is still left, we have to shoot some parts. It's a big film, and we don't want to do things in haste. Jaldbaazi mein kaam kharab hota hai and we don't want that to happen (things often take a turn for the worse when done in haste, and we don’t want that to happen with our film)." ' 

"Singham Again," directed by Rohit Shetty, is the fifth film in his cop universe and the third of the 'Singham' franchise, with Devgn reprising his role as the fearless cop. 

Singham Again to clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3

With the new release date, the film will now clash with the Kartik Aaryan-led horror comedy "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3", which is also releasing on Diwali. Also starring Triptii Dimri and Vidya Balan, 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is directed by Anees Bazmee.  

Stree 2 to clash with Pushpa 2 

The makers of "Stree 2," starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, announced on Friday that the upcoming horror comedy will be released on August 15 this year. They shared a short, spooky video on social media, featuring 'Stree' written in red Hindi font. The post is captioned: "Fir se! #Stree2 in cinemas this Independence Day, August 15, 2024. Catch the #Stree2 Teaser exclusively in cinemas with #Munjya from today." This film marks the return of the successful "Stree" franchise. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the movie also stars Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana, and Varun Dhawan (in a cameo as 'Bhediya'), with a special appearance by Tamannaah Bhatia. 

With this release date, the film will clash with the much-anticipated Pushpa 2 starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa 2: The Rule" is a sequel to the 2021 film "Pushpa: The Rise."
