New Delhi: Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Simmba’, which hit the silver screens on December 28, has set the cash registers jingling. The Rohit Shetty directorial is inching closer to the Rs 200 crore mark at the domestic box office. The action drama has emerged as the third biggest hit of 2018 after ‘Sanju’ and ‘Padmaavat’. The producer of the film Karan Johar hosted a bash on Monday (January 7) to celebrate Simmba’s success. Apart from the star cast including Sara Ali Khan, popular tinsel town celebs like Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Kajol, Manish Malhotra and Ayan Mukerji were present at the bash. Ranveer Singh’s lovely wife and Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone also attended the success party. Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Deepika will play Ranveer's on-screen wife in Kabir Khan's upcoming film '83'. The leggy lass will reportedly essay the role of Romi Bhatia in Kapil Dev's biopic . On the professional front, Deepika will start shooting for Meghna Gulzar's 'Chhapaak' from March.
