Shabana Azmi ‘again’ in a LESBIAN film?

New Delhi: Theatre artist and Bollywood’s versatile actress Shabana Azmi is very choosy when it comes to film. Actress chooses very different roles and films that convey a message. Shabana Azmi played the role  of a lesbian daughter-in-law in Deepa Mehta’s film ‘Fire’ in  year 1996. Actress will be again seen in lesbian film after 20 years but with a different character. According a report in dna, Shabana Azmi would play the role of a mother to a lesbian daughter Fawzia. Film is an American production named as ‘Signature Move’ and is written and directed by Pakistani actress and director Fawzia Mirza. In the film, Fawzia introduces herself as lesbian, Muslim, Pakistani, actor, activist, writer, producer, lawyer and creature of passion. Film seems to be an autobiographical, in Shabana is a kind of mother who watches daily soaps all day and is unaware of the fact that her daughter is a lesbian and is dating a Mexican girl. Shoot of the film has been started and Shabana Azmin left for Chicago last week.
