Sanjay Dutt To Start Shooting For Akshay Kumar Starrer ‘Prithviraj’ Post Diwali?

New Delhi: Sanjay Dutt has been diagnosed with lung cancer last month and has recently completed his first round of chemotherapy sessions at a private hospital in Mumbai. The ‘Agneepath’ actor is currently spending some quality family time with his children in Dubai. Before leaving for Dubai, Dutt returned to shoot for his upcoming film ‘Shamshera’ co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. Reportedly, the ‘Rocky’ actor will be resuming shoot for his upcoming film ‘Prithviraj’ soon after Diwali. According to a report based on a leading entertainment portal, Sanjay Dutt has completed 85-90 percent of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Prithviraj’ and has 5-6 days of shoot left. A source revealed to PinkVilla, “Sanju has finished 85-90 percent of Prithviraj shoot already and he has just 5 to 6 days of shoot left. He has finished maximum portions of principle photography and he will be resuming the Prithviraj shoot immediately post Diwali. He has been a rockstar as he is finishing all his shooting commitments. The makers are planning this shoot basis this time window and will wrap up the entire film immediately.” While the actor is with his twins Shahraan and Iqra, his wife Maanayata Dutt shared a happy family picture thanking God for the gift of family.

‘Prithviraj’ is a historical action drama film produced by Yash Raj Films and is about the life of the Chahamana Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar will be portraying the role of the protagonist in the movie and Manushi Chhillar will be making her debut with this movie illustrating the character of  Sanyogita, Prithiviraj Chauhan’s wife. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, this film also stars Ashutosh Rana, Sonu Sood, Manav Vij, and others. Watch this space for more updates.
