Ranbir Kapoor goes to jail for Sanjay Dutt's biopic

NEW DELHI: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor who is playing the titular role in Sanjay Dutt's biopic is currently busy shooting for the film. Few days back media reports surfaced saying that Ranbir along with the film's crew and cast visited Bhopal Jail and now the actor will stay in jail for a sequence of the film. Well the truth is, a set has been put up in old central jail of Bhopal to shoot the part which shows Sanjay Dutt in Yerwada Jail. Apart from giving a realistic view in the Rajkumar Hirani helmed film, this jail has been selected because cells here have no prisoners. On a related note, Sanjay Dutt was sentenced to five years imprisonment for possession of illegal arms in 1993 Mumbai blasts case.
