'HIT- The First Case' Release Date: Rajkummar Rao-Sanya Malhotra's Mystery Thriller To Arrive In Cinema Halls On May 20
Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra starrer 'HIT- The First Case' will release in theatres next year.
New Delhi: Bollywood stars Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, known for their acting prowess, are all set to entertain the audience with a new mystery thriller. The film titled 'HIT-The First Case' will focus on the story of a cop, played by Rao, who is on the trail of a missing lady. The makers of the highly anticipated flick have announced the release date.

‘HIT- The First Case’ will hit the silver screens on May 22, 2022. Sanya Malhotra took to social media to reveal the release date of her film. The actress, who made her debut with Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal, wrote, “We are hitting the theatres with a swooning mystery thriller, Hit - The First Case on 20th May 2022.”
The movie, which will be headlined by Rajkummar and Sanya, is the Hindi remake of Telugu film 'Hit'. The original arrived in the cinema halls in 2020 and starred Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma as leads.
The Hindi version will be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore while Sailesh Kolanum will direct it.

The two tinsel town celebs are currently basking in the success of their respective films on different OTT platforms. While Sanya's 'Meenakshi Sundareshwar' premiered on Netflix, Rajkummar Rao and Kriti Sanon starrer 'Hum Do Hamaare Do released in October 2021 on Disney+Hotstar.
On the professional front, Rao will be next seen in 'Badhaai Do' opposite Bhumi Pednekar. The comedy drama will arrive in the cinema halls on February 4, 2022. The 'Stree' actor also has 'Monica, O My Darling' in pipeline.
Talking about Sanya, the 'Ludo' actress has several exciting projects in her kitty including 'Love Hostel' and Atlee's yet-to-be titled flick.
