New Delhi: Amazon Prime's 'Penguin' has been making waves ever since the makers unveiled the film's trailer a few days back. The much-awaited movie starring Keerthy Suresh will release on the OTT platform on June 19, 2020. Movie buffs have been eagerly waiting for mystery thriller to see the National Award winning actress in the role of a mother. Eashvar Karthic, who is also the write, is making his directorial debut with 'Penguin'. The film's producer Kathik Subbaraj, in an exclusive statement to ABP News, praised Keerthy Suresh and said that she delivered one of her finest performances in 'Penguin'. After seeing her performance in Mahanati, she carried the entire film and delivered a superb performance," Kathik said. He further said, "And, with Penguin you will be even more surprised. She has done a tremendous job! I definitely feel that Penguin would be Keerthy’s one of the best performances apart from her National award-winning performance in Mahanati." The trailer showcased a mother’s agony after her child gets kidnapped. Keerty Suresh, who is considered as one of thee most talented actress in South cinema, has managed to leave a reverberating impact on the fans with her glimpse in the trailer. They are also curious to know the identity of the villain, who wore a mask in the film's trailer.

'Penguin' has been produced by Karthik Subbaraj under his banner Stone Bench Films. The film, co-produced  by Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, Sudhan Sundaram, and Jayaram under Passion Studios, has been shot simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. Watch this space for more updates!
