Bollywood Drugs Probe: NCB Top Boss KPS Malhotra Who Interrogated Deepika Padukone Tests Covid-19 Positive!

Earlier, on Saturday, a Mumbai special court extended the judicial custody of former Dharma Productions executive Kshitij Ravi Prasad till October 6.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) is probing the drug-angle in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in and a potential drug racket in Bollywood. Following which, actors like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh have been questioned by the agency so far. And according to reports, the deputy director of NCB, KPS Malhotra, who was present during Deepika Padukone’s interrogation, has been tested positive for the coronavirus(Covid-19). Earlier, 25 officials from the Mumbai office of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had also tested positive for Covid-19. While, 20 of them were sent to home quarantine, five of them have been admitted to hospital. Earlier, on Saturday, a Mumbai special court extended the judicial custody of former Dharma Productions executive Kshitij Ravi Prasad till October 6. Prasad was arrested on September 26 by the NCB during its ongoing probe into the drugs angle to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput. Meanwhile, in a big update in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) panel looking into the autopsy report on the request of the Central Bureau of Investigation’s (CBI) has submitted that the late died by suicide and has ruled out any murder angle.
