Actress Nagma Tests Covid Positive After Taking First Jab, Alia's Mother Soni Prays For Her Speedy Recovery
Actress-turned politician Nagma has tested positive for COVID-19 despite getting vaccinated.
Actress-turned-politician Nagma took to social media to inform her fans that she has tested positive for COVID-19. The ‘Suhaag’ actress revealed that she contracted the virus a few days after receiving her first dose of Coronavirus vaccine. She has quarantined herself at home after testing positive for COVID-19.
Nagma requested her followers to take necessary precautions to keep the virus at bay and ‘not get complacent in any manner’ even after taking the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
“Had taken my 1st dose of Vaccine a few days ago tested for Covid-19 yest, my test has come ‘Positive’ so Quarantined myself at home. All Please take care and take al necessary precautions even after taking the 1st dose of Vaccine do not get complacent in anyway manner,” Nagma tweeted.
Veteran actress and Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan sent her warm wishes to Nagma and hoped for her speedy recovery. She asked her to undergo another test if she doesn’t have any symptoms.
“Nagma please take care and take one more test. If you don’t have symptoms it could be a false positive. If you do have symptoms hope they’re mild,” Soni wrote.
Nagma responded to Razdan’s tweet and thanked her for showing concern. “Thank you @Soni_Razdan Ji did have symptoms the coughing has increased hv started on some strong medications from tont hopefully it does get controlled thank you . Ur Concern means a lot,” she tweeted.
Several Bollywood celebs including Alia Bhatt, Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif have recently tested positive for COVID-19. Akshay was admitted to a hospital as a precautionary measure while other celebs went under self-quarantine.
The number of COVID-19 cases have witnessed a spike in the last few days. Several state governments have imposed certain restrictions to combat the further spread of Coronavirus.
