Mumbai Police Records YRF's Aditya Chopra’s Statement In Sushant Singh Rajput’s Case
Statements of Sanjay Leela Bhansali, casting director of Yash Raj Films Shanoo Sharma and 30 other people have been recorded in SSR’s case so far. The statement of Sushant Singh Rajput’s psychiatrist was also recorded on Friday (July 17).
New Delhi: The demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has shuddered the film industry from within. People have started revolting against ‘nepotism’ and have been flooding social media expressing their rage. Every other day hashtags related to CBI investigation for the deceased soul keeps on trending. Many celebrities also came out in support for the involvement of CBI in the actor’s death case. Home Minister of Maharashtra, Anil Deshmukh responded and assured the netizens that Mumbai Police is capable enough to solve this case and there is no need for CBI investigation in the case.

Mumbai Police officers are currently interrogating people who have been related to Sushant professionally and personally in connection with the late actor's suicide case.
On account of all these, filmmaker Aditya Chopra has also arrived at the Bandra Police Station to record his statement in Sushant’s death case. “The statement of Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films recorded in Sushant Singh Rajput death case,” a Mumbai Police officer told ANI.
On June 26, Deputy commissioner of police Abhishek Trimukhe told ANI how the Mumbai Police is covering and looking upon every angle related to the actor. He said, “Bandra police has recorded statements of 27 people so far in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. We’ve got his detailed post-mortem report and doctors have clearly mentioned asphyxia due to hanging as cause of his death. We are investigating the reason behind his suicide from every angle.”

As the ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ actor worked in two films under the Yash Raj banner, the Mumbai Police also received a copy of the contract the actor had with Yash Raj Films last month. It is conjectured that his third movie was supposed to be Shekhar Kapur’s ‘Paani’, but at the end, YRF pulled out. It was presumed after Sushant’s death that he was abruptly dropped from certain projects and some Bollywood biggies have attempted to hamper his career.
Anil Deshmukh confirmed to the fact that the police will be thoroughly investigating professional rivalry in Sushant’s case and so far, they are not expecting any foul play.
