Kiss in 'Jaaneman Aah' was Varun's idea: Parineeti Chopra

Mumbai: Actress Parineeti Chopra says that her on-screen kiss in a special song from upcoming film "Dishoom" was her co-star Varun Dhawan's idea. In the special number "Jaaneman Aah", Varun and Parineeti are seen sharing a sizzling chemistry. "It was Varuns idea that we should have a kiss at the end of the song. On the day of the shoot, Rohit (director) wasnt there so thats when Varun popped the idea. "But this was not known to anyone on the sets including Ahmed Khan (choreographer). When the kiss happened everyone was shocked seeing the addition," Parineeti told reporters here at the song launch event. The 27-year-old actress was all praise for the "Student of the Year" actor. "Varun is so energetic...he likes improvisation. He is spontaneous," she said. Varun and Parineeti got two days to practice for the song and it was shot in just one take. "The idea was to get that 90s feel of Govinda and Karisma Kapoor for this song. We hope we have done justice to it. We both are perfect for this song," Varun said. Considering that the song was a first special number for Parineeti, Varun was worried whether she would do it. "Parineeti is doing a cameo in the film. We cant reveal what she is playing. I was worried if Parineeti will do this part or not. When I met her at an event and asked her about doing a cameo in Dishoom and she agreed," Varun said. "Dishoom" directed by Rohit Dhawan stars Varun, John Abraham and Jacqueline Fernandez and is set to release on July 29.
