New Delhi: The second song from Salman Khan’s film 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' is out now! The song titled ‘Billi Billi’ is a punjabi dance number sung and composed by Sukhbir.
The song's audio was released on Monday and the makers released the full music video on Thursday. In the video, Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde can be seen shaking their legs to the dance number. The actor looks young in a white shirt and black jacket, while Pooja shines in red. The actor can be seen dancing in his trademark style, with a few steps that can trigger a meme fest.
This is the first time that Sukhbir has sung and composed a song for Salman Khan. Talking about how the song came into being, Sukhbir told IANS, "I met Salman Khan in Abu Dhabi where he had requested a wedding/celebration song for his upcoming movie and that's when I sent him a couple of options. He loved all of them but especially fell in love with 'Billi Billi Akh' which was a Punjabi song and lyrics and that's how we started working on this Hindi version which was written by lyricist Kumaar and the music has been produced by DJ Dips and Supernova."
The song also introduces the extended ensemble cast of the film – Venkatesh, Bhumika Chawla, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar.
The film’s first song, 'Naiyo Lagda', was released last month during the finale of 'Bigg Boss 16'. In the song, Salman can be seen dancing with Pooja Hegde while sporting long hair and sunglasses in the breathtaking landscape of Ladakh. Salman's unusual dance moves, in which he brought his knees to the ground one at a time, which appeared more like a leg workout, was the song's standout moment. When Salman posted the song on social media, several people specifically commented on his odd dance move.
A Salman Khan Films Production, 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', is directed by Farhad Samji and is slated to release on Eid 2023.
