New Delhi: ‘KGF Chapter 2’ is an upcoming period action film starring Yash and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. It is a sequel to the 2018 film ‘KGF Chapter 1’ which proved to be a massive success. Starring Yash in the lead, the first part's narrative follows an underdog who later becomes a dangerous gangster. The upcoming sequel is said to follow the power struggle between Rocky (Yash) and Adheera (Sanjay Dutt). The film will also star Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty and Prakash Raj in prominent roles. The schedule will continue till mid-December, everyone including Yash is super excited because ‘KGF2’ as its been a long time in the making, and now it’s so close to the finish after the long pause caused due to the pandemic.” Yash's impactful performance in ‘KGF Chapter 1’ was duly recognized and loved by both the critics and the audience.  As magnanimous as Yash's name and fame, his character in the film held the same grit and power. His work is unparalleled and with his name attached all projects are off for a smooth sail. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film will be produced by Hombale Films. ‘KGF Chapter 2’ is slated to release worldwide in multiple languages namely Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi on April 2021. This movie will also mark Sanjay Dutt's foray into South Indian cinema. He will be reportedly seen playing the antagonist in the movie.
