Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan's ouster from 'Dostana 2' has set several tongues wagging. Movie buffs were disappointed when they came to know that Karan Johar has decided to drop the 'Love Aaj Kal 2' actor from his upcoming film owing to 'professional circumstances'. The production house issued a statement to confirm Dostana 2's re-casting and Kartik's exit from the film. While Dharma Productions released a statement, Aaryan didn't share anything on social media post the controversy. 

The 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' actor has finally shared his first Instagram post after he was dropped from 'Dostana 2'. Aaryan posted a photo wherein he can be seen sporting a face mask. Although, he didn't write anything in the caption, he delivered a 'loud and clear' message.

Kartik stressed on the importance of wearing a mask to keep Coronavirus at bay. Last month, he tested positive for COVID-19. The 'Luka Chuppi' star had resumed his work after recovering from the virus. Check out his new post!

Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages. One of them expressed excitement as Kartik posted a picture after a week on social media. Another fan asked Aaryan to speak up on the controversy surrounding 'Dostana 2'.

A reliable source told ABP News that Karan Johar is miffed with Aaryan and has vowed to never work with him again due to his tantrums. Kartik has maintained a silence over the matter. 

“Kartik has expressed creative differences over the script of ‘Dostana 2’. Moreover, his talent agency has not been giving dates for the film and hence the production house has decided to replace the actor,” the source said.

Kangana Ranaut extended support to the 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' actor after Dharma Productions issued a statement over Kartik's exit from 'Dostana 2'. The 'Thalaivi' actress slammed Karan Johar for removing Aaryan from the film on social media.

On the professional front, Kartik will be next seen in 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. The horror comedy, which also stars Tabu and Kiara Advani, will hit the silver screens on November 19, 2021.
