Jailer Success: After Rajinikanth, Nelson Dilipkumar Anirudh Ravichander Gets Bonus Cheque & A Porsche; Watch

New Delhi: 'Jailer' has proven to be one of the biggest films of 2023. The Rajinikanth starrer film has broken box office records in the country and abroad. Now, it seems that after giving bonus cheques and luxury cars to superstar Rajinkanth and Nelson Dilipkumar, they have also bestowed gifts to the film's music composer Anirudh Ravinchander.
On Monday, Kalanithi Maran, the chairman and founder of the Sun Group paid a visit to Anirudh and personally handed him a cheque. Mr Kalanithi Maran congratulated @anirudhofficial and handed over a cheque, celebrating the mammoth success of #Jailer,” a note from Sun Pictures said with a picture featuring the two.
The production house also shared a video in which Maran displayed three different cars to the composer. After considering his options, Anirudh went with a new Porsche as his preferred gift.

'Jailer' will also be premiering on OTT on Sep 7, coinciding with the release of Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan'. Despite the OTT release date, 'Jailer' continues to do well in cinemas.
As of now, the Rajinikanth starrer has collected Rs. 338.29 crores at the box office India nett. The worldwide collection of 'Jailer' is close to Rs. 590 cr.
'Jailer’ had earlier surpassed the total collection of Mani Ratnam's epic historical action movie, 'Ponniyin Selvan: 1' which collected Rs. 488.36 cr during its entire run.
Now, the only movie standing between 'Jailer' and the 'highest grossing Tamil film of all time' is Rajinikanth's own film '2.0' which was released in 2018 and collected some Rs. 723 crores at the box office.
'Jailer' also stars Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Jackie Shroff in important cameos. The action-packed entertainer also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi and Vinayakan.
