Housefull 5 Trailer: After a six-year break, the Housefull franchise is back with its fifth installment, Housefull 5, and the trailer promises a wild comedy ride. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek A. Bachchan, who are seen aboard a massive cruise ship, all claiming to be “the real son and rightful heir to a fortune.”

Things take a chaotic turn after a night of spiked drinks, leaving the trio with hazy memories. They soon find themselves locked up in the ship's jail after a murder takes place. A pair of detectives are brought in to figure out “which of three committed the crime.”

Touted as one of the biggest budget comedies ever made in India, the film moves beyond the cruise ship to locations like London, France, Spain, and back to the UK, as the police race to uncover the truth.

Sajid Nadiadwala on Housefull 5

Tarun Mansukhani is the director, with Sajid Nadiadwala as the writer and producer of the comedy caper.

In an interesting twist, Housefull 5 will feature two different endings, which will be shown in cinemas at different times.

Speaking about the film's climax at the trailer launch event, Sajid said, “I’ve been thinking about the story of Housefull 5 and having two different climaxes for the last 30 years,” said Nadiadwala. “I’ve always wanted to make a thriller, and the idea finally came to me 3–4 years ago, right after I finished writing Housefull 4. I wrote the story and screenplay myself, and it’s truly a dream come true. What makes this film unique is that different shows will have all together different killers and climax.
