'Housefull 3' grosses Rs. 100 cr worldwide in just three days

New Delhi: 'Housefull 3', which is the third installment in the 'Housefull' series, is performing outstandingly both at the domestic box office and at overseas. The movie has grossed a worldwide collection of Rs. 100 crore in mere three days after its release. Trade analyst Taran Adash took to his Twitter handle to reveal the movie's box office collections in India and tweeted, "#Housefull3 was EXCEPTIONAL on Sun... Fri 15.21 cr, Sat 16.30 cr, Sun 21.80 cr. Total: ? 53.31 cr. India biz... Growth on Sun: 33.74%. FAB!." "#Housefull3 scores big in international markets too... Collects $ 4 million [? 26.77 cr] in its opening weekend. SUPERB!," he tweeted. In a statement, Eros International announced that the film has collected over Rs. 100.03 crores (USD 15 million) across the globe in its opening weekend with Rs. 73.02 crores gross (Rs. 53.31 crores Net box Office) in India and Rs. 27.01 crores overseas.   Interestingly, the movie, which was released on June 3, has become the highest opening weekend grosser, beating SRK's' 'Fan', Akshay Kumar's 'Airlift' and Tiger Shroff starrer 'Baaghi'.   The movie, directed by Sajid-Farhad, stars wide array of celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Abhishek Bachchan, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon and Boman Irani.
