Gadar 2 Success: Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas Send Flowers & Handwritten Note To Director Anil Sharma

Recently, the director of 'Gadar 2' received a bouquet from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas for the success of his film.

New Delhi: 'Gadar 2' is on a roll at the box office. The Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel film has broken box office records in India. Released alongside Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi starrer 'OMG 2', 'Gadar 2' has collected close to Rs. 388 crores. The film's success has been hailed by all in Bollywood. Recently, the director of 'Gadar 2' received a bouquet from Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas for the success of his film.

The star couple from Hollywood sent a bouquet and a handwritten note to the filmmaker. 

Priyanka and Nick's note read, "Dear Anil Sir, Congratulations on the super success of Gadar 2! Lots of wishes for the future endeavors! Much love, Priyanka and Nick."

Anil Sharma shared the picture of the card with the bouquet on his Twitter handle. He tweeted, "Thx priyankachopra and nickjonas for your warm wishes ... it really touched my heart Gadar2 (sic)."

 

Recently, 'Gadar 2' surpassed 'Dangal's collection in India with Rs. 388.60 crores. Film critic and trade analyst shared the film's business of social media and wrote, "CROSSES ‘DANGAL’, NEXT ‘KGF 2’… #Gadar2 remains an UNSTOPPABLE FORCE, refuses to slow down on [second] Mon… Crosses *lifetime biz* of #Dangal… Is now FOURTH HIGHEST GROSSING #Hindi film in #India… [Week 2] Fri 20.50 cr, Sat 31.07 cr, Sun 38.90 cr, Mon 13.50 cr. Earlier, 'Gadar 2' crossed the lifetime collection of 'The Kerala Story'.

Many analysts have also predicted that 'Gadar 2' might also cross the lifetime business collection of Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham starrer 'Pathaan' which was released earlier this year.

'Gadar 2' is the sequel of the 2001 blockbuster 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha'. In 'Gadar 2', Sunny Deol reprises his role of Tara Singh who returns to Pakistan to rescue his imprisoned son Charanjeet 'Jeete' SIngh( played by Utkarsha Sharma) during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971.
