New Delhi: 'Fighter' has released in cinemas across the country. As early reviews begin to pour in about the Deepika Padukone, Hrithil Roshan film, here is our in-house 'Fighter' first half review.

While a mission to launch an attack in Kashmir is planned, Indian jet pilots, led by a freshly assembled group of exceptionally talented aviators, are getting ready to defend the nation. As all of this is going on, Hrithik Roshan, who plays Patty, joins the squad to combat the looming threat while also dealing with a personal tragedy.

 The Indian forces launch air control over LoC in response to an attack on the CRPF convoy. The film kicks off with a recounting of a horrific encounter from the Pulwama incident, which occurred in 2019 when a vehicle-borne suicide bomber struck a convoy of vehicles moving Indian security officers on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

The airstrike on Balakot serves as a reminder to the Pakistani military that India will no longer remain silent in the face of such assaults. But although the Indian air force celebrates at the mission's success, the Mujahideen see it as an insult to their dignity and start plotting retaliation.

Prior to the interval, Patty loses another person while tackling Pakistani airmen. The event worsens the already problematic relationship between Patty and squadron leader Rocky (Anil Kapoor).
